Few of the conditions treated can be elaborated as:
Achalasia
Achalasia is an esophageal disorder characterized by an irreversible loss of muscle activity in the lower esophagus accompanied by incomplete LES (lower esophageal sphincter) relaxation. Common symptoms include dysphagia (difficulty swallowing), regurgitation, weight loss, coughing, heartburn, and difficulty belching.
Anorectal diseases
Anal problems like hemorrhoids, fissures, and fistulas can cause symptoms ranging from minor annoyance to severe pain and/or bleeding.
Appendicitis
Appendicitis is one of the most common illnesses requiring emergency surgical care, especially among young people — though appendicitis can affect people of all ages. It generally occurs unexpectedly, often beginning with vague abdominal discomfort which develops into pain and tenderness in the right lower part of the abdomen over the course of a day or so.
Colorectal diseases
For all kinds of benign and malignant colorectal diseases
Gall bladder diseases
The most common disorder is occurrence of Gall bladder stones. The gallbladder contains stones made of cholesterol or other substances. They may cause transient or ongoing blockages of the ducts of the gallbladder or bile system. This can cause abdominal pain, jaundice (an abnormal yellowing of the urine, eyes, and/or skin), inflammation of the pancreas, or infection of the gallbladder or biliary system. Gallstones may also cause subtler symptoms, such as a sensation of indigestion, bloating, or nausea, especially after eating fatty foods. Pain, when it occurs, is most frequently in the upper abdomen, especially in the right upper part of the abdomen and often radiating toward the back.
Hernia
A hernia is a weakness that generally occurs in the wall of the abdomen, permitting an organ, a part of an organ, or fat to protrude. The primary symptom is pain, which may get worse with long periods of standing or lifting heavy objects, and is often accompanied by a bulge in the abdomen or groin. Although inguinal hernias are the most common, hernias may also occur in the navel (umbilical) and at the site of previous surgery. If left untreated, some hernias may cause "strangulation," a condition in which a section of the intestine becomes trapped outside the abdomen and cannot obtain adequate blood flow. This potentially life-threatening situation causes such symptoms as blood in the stool, severe pain, vomiting, fever, and even shock and may require emergency treatment.
Hiatal Hernia
This is a naturally occurring defect in the diaphragm (muscle that separates the abdomen from the chest) that allows the esophagus to enter the abdominal cavity. Sometimes this opening enlarges and the gastroesophageal junction and stomach may move from the abdomen into the chest, causing a hiatal hernia.
